MUSINK – GRAB YOURS NOW

Musink

The annual Musink Tattoo Festival is back for it’s 10th year at the OC Fair & Event Center on March 17-19, 2017 and tickets are ON SALE NOW!

Curated by Travis Barker, drummer of Blink-182, this fest honors music, tattoos and classic cars. Headliners include NOFX, The Used, Pennywise along with The Vandals, Glassjaw, Bad Religion and more. Hundreds of tattoo artists will be joining these headliners along with the Low and Slow Car Show where Barker will even feature a few cars of his own. Some of Barker’s favorite tattoo artists will be at Musink ready t0 detail your skin with ink.

Musink is for all, just as Travis Barker said in an interview this year, “I grew up loving every style of music and I think what makes Musink different from a lot of other tattoo festivals is that the others never really have hip-hop or any sort of urban act. I think they’re missing out on a huge market of kids that love getting tattooed, too.

“That’s why I love Musink, this culture, tattoos and music, it’s all color blind. It’s for everybody, every race, every genre of music and I love being able to bring all of that under one roof.”

So what are you waiting for?

dj khaled

DJ Khaled will be blessing us (up) with his performance at Freaky Deaky this year. Take a break from the scary to see this SnapChat god do his thing on stage. His love for his fans or, Fan Luv, will bring an interactive experience to this fest. The newest face of Ciroc Mango and soon-to-be published author just gave us Anotha One to rave about with his newest album entitled, you guessed it, “Major Key”.

His newly released album is stacked with legendary names like Drake, Jay Z, Future, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, and the list goes on. These hits are sure to get any crowd hype. Who knows they could even spark some Halloween Costume ideas…

Oh yeah and did we mention that he spent his summer touring with the Queen herself, Beyonce?

THINGS YOU WISH YOU COULD TAKE TO A FEST… BUT SHOULDN’T

fgt

So it’s finally that time of year. We can pretend to be something or someone we aren’t we aren’t. We can push the limits of what’s socially acceptable. We can eat as much candy as we want with little to no judgement. Oh, and we can (and will) attend some freaky, fun and fantastical festivals, of course! But don’t forget that there are some things that aren’t acceptable on fest grounds, no matter what holiday it is.

If this is your first festival, buckle up. If you’re a fest vet, this will serve as a friend reminder. The following items are items may be appropriate for your horror flick inspired costume, but you probably shouldn’t take them to a fest this Halloween…

1. CHAINSAWS

Yes, I’m talking to all you Leatherfaces out there this Halloweekend. We know lines and crowds can be overwhelming, but a polite “Excuse me” will go much further than literally cutting your way to the front.

2. HOCKEY MASKS

Leave the masks at home. Less crazy killer vibes. Plust, it’ll obstruct your view 😉

3. BLOOD

For the vampires out there, no blood please. Outside food and drink is usually prohibited.

4. POTIONS, PILLS & WITCHES BREW

It’s hard to sneak in a flask, let alone a whole cauldron. Plus, the billowing smoke clouds will give you away.

Real talk – please check your festival’s FAQs for a list of prohibited items and safety precautions before entering the festival!
