From July 6th to July 9th, the Winnipeg Folk Festival will return to Birds Hill Provincial Park just outside of the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba!

We’re so excited to see what this year brings. With headliners like City and Colour, The Shins, Feist, Brandi Carlile, Barenaked Ladies, and Bruce Cockburn, there is a lot to look forward to!

The festival will feature 2 campgrounds, 9 stages and over 70 artists! Experience the beautiful outdoors while listening to some exceptional music alongside friends and family. All ages are welcomed!

Mariposa Folk Festival 2017

Celebrating its 56th year, Mariposa Folk Festival is back again this summer at Tudhope Park in Orillia, Ontario!

From July 7th to July 9th, experience the festival that has often been called the Grande Dame of North American music festivals.

With its unique atmosphere and beautiful lakeside setting, Mariposa Folk Festival is a celebration of music, dance, story, craft, and so much more!

This year, experience over 150 performances on 12 different stages featuring artists that are renowned both locally and internationally, as well as new and emerging artists!

LOCKN’ Festival just dropped their initial lineup for 2017 and it is jam packed with amazing artists!

Now in its 5th year, the festival returns to Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia on August 24-27, 2017. Alongside some of the best local vendors & organizations that make LOCKN’ such a unique experience, get ready to catch special performances by today’s most respected jam artists! We took it upon ourselves to choose our Top 10 artists to watch for LOCKN’ Festival 2017!


  • Georgia natives and American rock band, Widespread Panic, will make you groove with their gritty guitar chords and country edge.


  • Bringing the folk vibes to LOCKN’, The Avett Brothers will tug at your heart strings during their intimate set.


  • Formed in 1993 and still bringing the grooves, there is no stopping this iconic jam band.

7. moe.

  • After a 3 year hiatus, moe. is back and badder than ever with their heavy shreds and bass rhythms anyone can dig.


  • An original prog-jam band from Indiana with Jamaican influence, Umphrey’s McGee always takes it to the next level.


  • Entering his 16th year, Phil Lesh’s classic jamband sound never fails to satisfy any audience.


  • New Orleans, roots rock natives The Revivalists are holding it down in the alternative jam scene.


  • This five-piece Americana group from Kalamazoo, MI definitely brings the grassroots vibes as they set fire to any stage.



  • Australian roots band, John Butler Trio, has an eclectic sound with an array of unique instrumental sounds coming together as one.

  • Being a 10-piece band isn’t always easy, but The Suffers make it appear that way as they bring a soulful jive anywhere they go.

The Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is almost upon us, September 16th – 18th, and we can’t wait for the amazing scenery, great hangs and awesome performances! Legendary mining town Telluride, Colorado is the perfect backdrop for this festival with it’s breathtaking hills you can see for miles. You will get to experience stunning performances by Joe Walsh, Gary Clark Jr., The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band ft. Rick Vito, Jason Isbell, Anders Osborne, Shakey Graves, Vintage Trouble, North Mississippi Allstars, Shovels & Rope, Madisen Ward and The Mama Bear, Jamestown Revival, Little Freddie King + many more!!


Remember, there WILL be camping for all of you festers that enjoy roughing it. Camping is the ultimate way to make sure you and your friends fully experience the festival! The camping grounds are only a few steps away from the festival grounds and Main Street Telluride. There are also exclusive perks you won’t want to pass up including additional + intimate shows in the actual campground (you will need your camping wristband for entry.) RBC Bluesfest: July 7 – 17, 2016

RBC Bluesfest started this Thursday, July 7th and goes til’ Sunday, the 17th! That’s right, a 9 DAY festival! Taking place at the Lebreton Flats in Ottawa, ON is an array of different artists pulling together to bring you the best fest experience possible. Artists for RBC Bluesfest include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duran Duran, Future, Nelly, Schoolboy Q, Billy Idol, The Revivalists, Earl Sweatshirt, Brandi Carlile, The Cult, Wild Child, San Fermin, Alessia Cara, Brad Paisley, PUP, Awolnation, Sam Hunt + more! This lineup is definitely one for the books that you will not want to miss.

SENSELESS: July 9, 2016


This year, Toronto is introducing SENSELESS, it’s first ever immersive music festival, created for the people. Taking place on Saturday, July 9th, is a music experience for all of your senses. You will be taken on a journey of electronic and live music; 3D visuals’ tastes’ scents and so much more! There will be wicked performances by T-E-E-D, Tube & Berger, Rodriguez Jr, Frivolous, Isoleé, Frank & Tony, Taimur & Fahad, Maher Daniel, Nitin, Sam Jaserpsohn + more!

Stampede Roundup: July 13, 2016


The annual Stampede Roundup is celebrating it’s 21st year at Fort Calgary on July 13th and tickets are still on sale! There will be special performances by classics The Cult, KISS + Moist! This philanthropic festival, in association with the Rotary Club of Calgary and 51 North Productions Ltd, helps raise money for not only the community, but assists in helping families continue to enjoy outdoor living around the city.

Oxford Stomp: July 15, 2016


This year’s Oxford Stomp will be held on Friday, July 15th at Fort Calgary. In celebration of the festivals 28th year, there will be special performances by Don Henley, Serena Ryder, Matthew Good + Vertical Horizon! Food & beverages will be provided by Rotary’s famous Beef-on-a-bun dinner , campfire beans, coleslaw and fruit salad (included in every ticket!!)

Chasing Summer: July 30 – 31, 2016


The Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds in Calgary welcomes Chasing Summer Festival on July 30th – 31st! Enjoy Western Canada’s largest outdoor electronic music festival as it debuts with an incredible lineup, including performances by Martin Garrix, Hardwell, The Chainsmokers, Zeds Dead, Galantis, Marshmello, Don Diablo, Netsky, Jaul, Seven Lions, Andrew Bayer + many more!!
