Don’t mind the winter chill in Stratton Mountain, Vermont because from April 7-8, the Minus Zero Winter Sports and Music Festival is happening, and it’s going to be cool.
Minus Zero just announced the performance of producer and DJ, Illenium, at the 2017 festival. A relatively new artist to the EDM scene, Illenium is beginning to make a name for himself. His songs “It’s All On U” and “Reverie” respectively earned #5 and #13 positions on Billboard’s “Twitter Emerging Artists”charts in 2016.
Get psyched for the rest of Minus Zero’s performers to be announced!
Grant Kwiecinski, the 25 year old Southfield, MI native, has already gained a loyal following and received top reviews and accolades from Detroit Music Magazine, SPIN and The Untz in just 4 years of being active.
GRiZ (as he’s more commonly referred to) is known for playing live saxophone during his energetic sets. What started as a childhood extracurricular has transformed into the signature sound that keeps fans ravenous for more. He’s taken his funk electro-soul / future-funk party all across the globe by supporting acts like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Gramatic and Big Gigantic as well as headlining his own tour and appearing at festivals like Electric Zoo, Electric Forest, TomorrowWorld, Decadence, Snowball and Lollapalooza.
Check out some of our favorite clips, pics and performances from this rising star and, dare we say, future of EDM.
