Los Angeles Haunted Hayride returns to it’s darker and even more disturbing roots with a brand new theme to date, Secret Society. Prepare to enter a world of other worldly spirits as you join the Secret Society of Samhain, October 1st – 31st. This weekend is the very LAST weekend to join the society, so don’t miss it at Griffith Park Old Zoo. This hayride is not your everyday juvenile trip through lines of carved, jolly pumpkins with festive candy apples. Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is not just an event, it’s an experience. As you join a secret society, you become part of a faction, a part of the ride. A ride you can’t escape after you pledge yourself to a faction. After picking which of the two paths to take into the forest of the wild, wild west, the results will be terrifying. Initiation into the society will just be the beginning of a Halloween you’ll never forget.
This year’s partnership with Universal Studios, “Ouija, Origin of Evil” will turn all your worst horror movie nightmares into a reality.
The Haunted Village of this spooky creation also includes attractions that will take you on a more pleasant nostalgia of Halloween’s past. One of memories filled with trick-or-treating as a kid versus the (hay)ride down memory lane of wetting your bed in fear (which you very well may do this year). The village is home to Theatre Macabre, the Grub Shack, the Dark Maze, Scary-Go-Round, a House of Mirrors, Psychics, pumpkin carving area, Death Row and and more.
If you dare to search for something that gives Hallow’s Eve a whole new meaning, check hours and buy your tickets now.
