June is widely recognized as Pride Month and serves as a time to reflect on history, progress yet to be made, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community at large. While the festivities look different this year, the need to come together, learn, activate and recognize each other is more important than ever. NYC Pride has a stacked slate of virtual programming all week long you can participate in from anywhere. Savor Pride 2020

Savor Pride is a week long digital series in partnership between NYC Pride and God’s Love We Deliver. Together with host Kalen Allen, you can tune in with acclaimed chefs like Renee Blackman, Amanda Freitag, Kate Palayo, Mavis-Jay Sanders, Sicily Sierra and Liz Alpern each night this week at 6:30 EST on NYC Pride’s social channels and glwd.org. Plus, learn more about how GLWD is supporting the health of their clients through cooked and home-delivered nutritious, medically tailored, meals for people that are too sick to shop and cook for themselves.

Human Rights Conference ~ Announcing this week, a day full of engagement/conversations on topics, multiple panels, information on activism, sex education +. more // Join the virtual Human Rights Conference all day this Thursday!

On Thursday June 25th from 9:30 – 6:30 EST tune into NYC Pride’s Human Rights Conference streaming on their Facebook and YouTube channels. There will be a full day of engaging conversations including a fireside chat with Ashlee Marie Preston and Jonathan Van Ness as well as panels like ‘State of the Media’ led by GLAAD and Raquel Willis.

NYC Pride Rally 2020

NYC Pride and GLAAD have teamed up to re-imagine the Rally experience. You can still join virtually to be a part of the community and take a stand together against police brutality and discrimination with hosts Ashlee Marie Preston and Brian Michael Smith. 📺 NYC Pride Special Broadcast Event Sunday June 28th at Noon EST 

Pride 2019 marked the 50 year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and this year’s Pride commemorates the 50 year anniversary of the first Pride March. Join Grand Marshals and honorees Dan Levy, The Ali Forney Center, Yanzi Peng and Victoria Cruz and tune in to the celebration which also includes performances from Janelle Monåe, Deborah Cox, Billy Porter, Luisa Sonza, Rufus Wainwright and more! The broadcast will be on New York’s local ABC station (WABC) from 12-2pm EST but can also be viewed live online at abv7ny.com or through the stations apps and also on the ABC News Live channel.
